Korean developer Smilegate Entertainment released two VR games recently, with one being a dating sim (Focus on You) and the other a thief stealth game. The latter entitled Rogan: The Thief in the Castle launched amidst some rather mixed reviews on Steam. Since it launched though the developer released an update which removes the hood and tweaks the gameplay a little – with more updates promised for the future. The hood especially was a massive complaint from players. So now an option to remove it entirely exists the game fares better. The hood simply obscured too much of the screen real estate, making for a claustrophobic experience in VR when already most VR headsets blinker the viewpoint.
